I love Balboa Park in San Diego, and it's especially great at night for photography. This is a hidden doorway at the House of Hospitality at one end of the courtyard near The Prado Restaurant.

The last golden light before sunset makes for a beautiful shot of the koi pond in Balboa Park near the arboretum (behind me). This was taken about 30 minutes before my previous Balboa Park photo.

I took this photo last night while at Balboa Park with Katie and her family. Balboa Park is one of our favorite places to go when visiting San Diego. Most of the buildings (like the one here) are built in Spanish Colonial Revival style.
This is an HDR from 5 exposures (1 stop apart).

This bridge goes over the 163 freeway in San Diego near Balboa Park. That's the same freeway that Katie ran on during the Rock 'n' Roll marathon she did last year (and the rest of us rode bikes on while following her).

I guess I don't have much to say about this one except that you should visit Balboa Park if you're ever down in San Diego.
