thanks for posting that. Mono Lake might be the most otherworldy place I've ever been; this photo looks like it could illustrate a scene from Out of the Silent Planet.

Good thing you stayed a bit longer. The colours, composition and location are really nice! Small comment; I think you have lightened the rock on the left a bit too much since it doesn't quite match the shadow. Overall a really memorable picture. Must look great on print. Warm regards
