As is probably obvious, this panorama was taken in the same place as the last post to the photoblog. In fact, this was part of the same panorama, which I split into two photos for easier viewing; this is looking back the other direction. It turns out that the local wildlife like this area as well, because this is where Katie spotted a wild boar (which our guides chased with their bows & arrows, but which got away), Andy saw a crocodile (close to the nearby stream), and I saw a large deer sleeping area (there may be a more technical name for such a place, but I don’t know it). It was also the place we were told to watch out for two very rare poisonous snakes (one white, one black-and-white-striped), but we didn’t get to see any. |
