Sunrise photo of a starburst of light peaking from behind some deadwood. The manzanita plant is the one with green leaves and reddish bark below the log. You might think this is driftwood on a beach with all the sand around, but this is on the sandy slopes of Zion above the slot canyons below. We started our canyoneering trip right at sunrise, which was great for capturing shots like this. No HDR involved in this photo. |
