Taughannock Falls is a spectacular 215 foot waterfall in the Finger Lakes Region of central New York just north of Ithaca. We stayed overnight down the road from Taughannock State Park at Taughannock Farms Inn. Apparently this waterfall is one of the highest east of the Rocky Mountains. The gorge is especially beautiful this time of year with the fall colors.
