I don't usually think much of pelicans, but when this one flew right over me, I noticed how big and majestic they can be. I especially like this shot because you can see his eye, and the orderly feathers under the wing.

  • Superb! Actually, pelicans can also fly in orderly formations high in the sky. They are worth watching.
