Olive-Backed Sunbird

The olive-backed sunbird is the closest thing to a hummingbird that you will find in SE Asia. This particular one kept coming back to these flowers next to the swimming pool complex near where my parents live. I didn't do much swimming that day as I chased him to various flowers to capture a good shot.

  • Patience paid off again! These guys cannot quite hover like a hummer. But they flit around a lot and are hard to get in the right position. Excellent!
