Same market as the blingbing photo: exchanging money for market goods. In this part of Indonesia the money is handed to the seller at the exact same time as the seller hands the goods, to make sure the transaction happens fairly. Also, this means that only one hand is needed, since the other hand is probably dirty or holding other produce. |
